Welcome to the Fit Family Challenge program!
This special program is offered in the Primary Care setting to help families eat better, be more physically active and have fun!
The Fit Family Challenge is based on 5-2-1-0, a daily goal of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables; 2 hours or less of screen time; 1 hour or more of physical activity; and 0 sugary drinks.
Fit Family Challenge participants will:
Attend a monthly group visit every month for a year
Set a goal each week
Talk with a care manager each week to update progress on goals via text, email, or phone call
Eat more fruits and vegetables and drink fewer sugary drinks
Be more active and watch less TV/video games
